About
The Tamil Nadu LangTech Startup Fund is an initiative by StartUpTN and Tamil Virtual Academy to support startups developing innovative Tamil Language Technology solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning.
The fund aims to accelerate Tamil-centric AI and NLP innovations with funding support of up to ₹2.5 Crore, encouraging startups to build impactful solutions for the future of Tamil technology.

How to Apply?
- Check your eligibility – The fund is intended for startups developing Tamil Language Technology solutions using AI, NLP, Machine Learning, Tamil LLMs, machine translation, chatbots, speech recognition, text mining, etc.
- Prepare your startup details – Keep your startup/company information, product or prototype details, technology/innovation, team details and proposed Tamil LangTech solution ready.
- Fill out the application form – The official StartupTN post directs applicants to Tamil Virtual Academy (tamilvu.org) for the application.
- Submit the application and complete any required information/documents.
- Wait for evaluation/selection by the concerned authorities.
